Those who know me are aware that I draw inspiration for my jewelry pieces from my experiences here on this Earth and my observations of its many marvels. I frequently see jewelry pieces at these moments of observation. Here are but a few examples I’d like to share. The photographs pretty much speak for themselves, but there is always more to it that just the visual.
Ancient healers and modern eastern cultures are well aware of the radiant healing energy of the sun. It is accepted that all energy on the planet comes from the sun. Heat drives the universe and warms our soul. Sunlight is truly indispensable to our good health and peace of mind. The Golden Sun is a symbol used to represent the endless supply of energy we have, with which we can create any kind of life we desire. It reminds us that our energy is alive, renewable, and constantly available.
Rubellite (pink-red tourmaline) is a stone of balance and calm. Emotionally, rubellite helps bring emotional balance and helps open up, relax, and detach from personal pain. Rubellite is also a stone of passion, bringing passionate energy and love. It lends strength to the body.

Purification, regeneration, transformation . . . the ocean has long been known for its extraordinary powers. The ocean’s energy is all about rejuvenation. The natural teal blue of this apatite embodies the totality of the majestic and magnificent energy and power of the wild, untamed ocean. It has a deeply calming effect on the soul, much as the color of the ocean’s waters deep inside this natural cave.
Apatite is also a stone that mystically can stimulate the thoughts and ideas. It is said to increase intellect, imagination, and intuitive awareness.

Jade is a stone of the heart and so, it can attract and enhance love of all kinds. Being that it’s green, it is the color of the Earth and therefore grounding. Jade is soothing and relaxing mentally as well as physically. It helps alleviate depression, nervousness and anxiety and offers a sense of renewal, self-control and harmony.
Blue Peruvian (Andean) Opal, because of its color, brings the sky’s vast, calming energy to earth. It is mystically known as a stone of courage and ingenuity. It is said to improve self-esteem and self-love. It is also said to be an aid to creativity and communication of all types. Peruvian blue opal is also said to help with stress reduction and fatigue.
